Arizona: Affordable, Comfortable and
On the Rise
|
Arizona has become one of the fastest
growing real estate markets in the United States.
With appreciating property value and growing communities,
it is not only a popular retirement spot, but also a growing
and diverse
community.
Not only the biggest, but also the fastest-growing real
estate market in Arizona is Phoenix. As both the capital
and the economic center of the state, Phoenix is one of
the largest cities in the entire country. Phoenix is always
growing and changing and in fact has grown so large that
it now encompasses neighboring areas, such as Scottsdale
and Tempe. The weather in Arizona may be warm, usually
breaking 100 degrees in the summer, but low moisture keeps
it quite comfortable. Winter nights can get cool, but
it still remains in the 70s during the day. Phoenix is
home to major league baseball, basketball, football, and
hockey teams.
Flagstaff has more of a traditional Midwest feel to it.
Unlike Phoenix,
Flagstaff has a small town ambience. Flagstaff finds itself
right at the foot of Route 66 and is home to Arizona State
University. Many of the nearly 30,000 students who attend
the university are among Flagstaff’s residents,
making this the ideal location for someone who likes the
atmosphere of a college town.
The real
estate market in Arizona still remains very modest
despite its steady rise. Most homes in Arizona reach an
average price barely breaking $300,000, making it an excellent
location not only for the average home buyer but also
for the savvy investor.
