| "I need to tell you how great you have been in this whole process for me. If there is one thing I want as a customer, it is responsive and courteous customer support. You have definitely exceeded my expectations." |

For Sale By Owner is Not for Everyone
|
For Sale by Owner seems like
a great idea to save money when selling
your home. Instead of paying a commission to a real
estate agent you will have extra money in your pocket.
Before you take that leap however, you have to make sure
that you are the type of person that can handle the responsibility
involved with selling your home for yourself.
There are times in life when you have to deal with an
extraordinary amount of negative stress. When you are
dealing with a lot of stress you are usually not at the
top of your game. When selling your home you need to make
sure that you are calm and collected throughout the process,
and that you brain is as sharp as it can be. There will
be a lot of decision-making and details that you will
need to handle. If you are dealing with negative stress
such as the loss of a loved one, divorce, or the diagnosis
of a life threatening disease you are probably better
off having a real
estate agent handle the sale of your home.
What if you are not going through any life changing negative
stress? For some of you, who can make decisions and learn
from your mistakes, selling your home yourself may be
a great option. On the other hand, for those of you who
are never completely confident with your decisions, or
are always wondering if you should have done something
differently and torture yourself over any mistakes you
make, you will benefit from a real
estate agent rather then selling your home yourself.
A real estate agent
will be able to make some of those decisions for you and
if something goes wrong you not only have someone to blame,
they will usually have the experience to solve the problem
for you.
