The most common piece of data
used to determine the price of real estate in any one
community
is the median price of homes in that community. The easiest
way to understand the median price is if you put every
home price on a list, you would take the price that was
in the exact middle of the list, and that would be the
median price.

This data is not an ultimate account of the pricing trends
for any San Diego community. Some communities represented
may have had very few homes sold during the pricing period,
which could decrease the overall median price of real
estate in that community. Real estate data is more definitive
over a longer duration of time, and should involve multiple
metrics to fully understand lasting market
trends. Contact your local San
Diego Realtor to obtain information about enduring
market trends for any given community.
